2 TBSP butter
3½ TBSP honey
2 ounces chestnut flour (½ cup)
2½ ounces almonds, roughly ground (5/8 cup)
½ tsp baking soda

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Melt the butter with 2 TBSP (30 ml) of the honey.
- Mix in the chestnut flour, roughly ground almond flour, and the remaining 1½ TBSP of the honey.
- In a separate bowl, mix the baking soda with the boiling water, then stir this into the main biscuit mixture.
- Place in small heaps on a baking tray and bake at 325°F (160°C) for 10-15 minutes or until brown. Patting some of the air out of the biscuits after about ten minutes cooking time will make them a bit crunchier.
